(A Poison Tree) i was angry with my friend: i told my wrath;my wrath did end. i was angry with my foe: i told it not: my wrath did grow ......1) what message is the poet trying to convey? 2)explain the use of parallelism in these lines.

What I can get from this poem is that the poet was angry with a friend, he let out his anger, his anger with her friend ended. He/she was mad with an enemy, he/she did not let that enemy know how angry he/she was at him/her and that caused the angry to grow deeply into them and cause them to get angry as time grew.
