The perimeter of two similar triangles will be in the same ratio as any of their corresponding sides.

ED:EA=14:9 \Rightarrow P_{\triangle{CED}}:P_{\triangle{BEA}}=14:9 \Rightarrow P_{\triangle{CED}}=(14)/(9)P_{\triangle{BEA}}

P_{\triangle{CED}}=(14)/(9)P_{\triangle{BEA}}=(14)/(9)*27=42
In the figure, AB is parallel to CD, If ED:EA = 14.9 and hte perimeter of BEA is 27, find-example-1
