Do you agree that the state and federal government should pass legislation mandated safety features in vehicles? why or why not? what are the opportunity costs of safety features for consumers and manufacturers? what other opportunity costs might impact the decision of what kind of vehicle to purchase.

The government has to guarantee safety conditions in vehicles. And in order to do that, they need to create consciousness into the people by legislating laws to have safety features and how to properly manage them. In the past was mandatory to buckle up but now after a great discussion, became mandatory by law to buckle up seat belts.

I think safety should never be compromised no matter if it increase the cost of manufacture.
The value of human life is too high to be valued simply by cost only
