The geaometric sequence is a sequence with first term (a) = 3, common ratio (r) = 12/3 = 4
nth term = ar^(n-1)
8th term = 3(4)^(8 - 1) = 3(4)^7 = 3(16,384) = 49,152

The eight term of the geometric sequence 3, 12, 48, 192 is C. 49, 152.
You just multiply every number by 4.
