What is the y coordinate of the y_intercept of the line that passes through the points

(_2, _2) and (2, 4)?

I don't know if you have a graph innfront of you or not but the lone will take it from quadrant 3( the bottom left) to quadrant 1 ( upper right ) where it crosses To go from negatave to positive is your y intercept. sorry if that is kinda confusing

We first calculate the slope of the line using
m = (change in y)/(change in x)
m = (4 - (-2))/(2 - (-2))
m = 6/4 = 3/2
y = mx + c, we use the point (2 , 4) to help calculate the y-intercept, c
4 = 3/2 (2) + c
c = 1
The y-intercept = (0 , 1)
