the slope is 1. meaning up 1 and over 1
the y intercept is (0, -2)
when x is 1 y is -1 (1, -1)
when x is 2 y is 0 ( 2, 0)

We are asked to graph the equation :

y=x-2

Now, in order to graph the equation we need to find the x and y-intercept of the following equation and draw a line passing through these two points.

Now when x=0 we have:

y=-2

This means that the graph passes through (0,-2)

when y=0 we have:

$0=x-2\\\\x=2$

Hence, the graph passes through (2,0)

Hence, we draw a line passing through (2,0) and (0,-2) which is the desired graph of the given equation.
