There were 800 people who attended the summer concert. Of those, 55% were adults and the rest were children. How many children attended the concert? (PLEASE SHOW STEPS!!!!!)

800 divide by 10 = 80
80 multiply by 5 =400
(also done in half of 800 or 50%)
400 add 5% (10% = 80 so 5% = 40) = 440
this is 55% - the adults
400 minus 40 = 360
this is 45% - the children

Answer 2

100%- 55%= 45%
so the children are 45 of the people there
45% of 800 is 45/100 x 800, if you work this out you get 360
