If you see dark, thick, nimbostratus clouds, what will you forecast?

heavy precipitation
a light drizzle
an overcast day
partly cloudy, but no precipitation

I would say heavy precipitation on a steady scale.

Answer: Heavy precipitation

Explanation: If nimbostratus cloud is seen in the sky then heavy precipitation will be observed. They are dark and clouds seen in the sky that point towards precipitation.

This precipitation can be observed in the form of continues rain, snow, sleet et cetera but there will be no lightening or thunder in the sky.

This is a Latin word which means precipitation.
