In order to find the average velocity you have to divide the distance by the time and follow those steps

Step 1

Find the time

Subtract start time from ending time

1200-1115=45\ minutes

Convert minutes to hour

45\ minutes=(3)/(4)\ hour

Step 2

Find the velocity

we have

distance=6\ km\ North

time=(3)/(4)\ hour

V=(6)/((3/4))= (6*4)/(3)=8 (Km)/(h)North

therefore

the answer is

8 (Km)/(h)North
