Secondhand smoking is just as more effective of getting the side effects as just smoking the substance itself. It allows those who choose to smoke to smoke, and those that do not don't have to smell, or inhale those toxic substances.

Because second hand smoke can and will affect the lungs of everyone who is around, not just the smokers
