1. de le (NOT this one. It should be 'du'!)
2. du (de + le)
3. de la (de + la)
4. des (NOT this one. It's plural!)

I know that Jouer + de OR Jouer + du is usually followed by an activity involving music. I can't seem to determine the definite article of piano. Is it 'le' or 'la'. If it is 'le' then our answer is 2. If it is 'la' our answer is 3. Let me know what you think! Merci !

you know already that Joue is 'to play' so, it is going to be Elle joue du piano.
You never say jouer au piano. A piano is not game but instrument. You could says jouer au tennis, au football, aux cartes because tennis, football and cards are games.
This is very easy. I took French in primary school. You'll get it soon! :)
