ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xander was traveling at a final velocity of 4.5 m/s for 3.5 seconds. Finley was traveling at a final velocity of 3.6 m/s for 4.2 seconds. Max was traveling at a final velocity of 7.3 m/s for 1.2 seconds. They all started from the same location. Which lists them from least to most acceleration?

A. Max → Finley → Xander
B. Max → Xander → Finley

D. The answer is Finley, Xander, then Max.

The correct option is D.

Acceleration of an object is defined as velocity per unit time. That is,

Acceleration, A = Velocity, V / Time, T.

For Xander, Acceleration, A = 4.5 /3.5 = 1.29 m/s^2.

For Finley, A = 3.6 / 4.2 = 0.86 m/s^2.

For Max, A = 7.3 / 1.2 = 6.08 m/s^2.

Arranging these acceleration from least to most, we have 0.86, 1.29 and 6.08 respectively for Finley, Xander and Max.
