The Connie require 24 cups of milks and as mentioned 1 L is equal to 4.2 cups.

Determine the amount of milk in 1 cup.

a=(1)/(4.2)

The milk in cup is 1/4.2 litres.

Determine the amount of milk (in liters) avalilable in 24 cups.

\begin{gathered} (1)/(4.2)\cdot24=(240)/(42) \\ =5.714 \end{gathered}

So Connie need to purchase 5.714 litres of milk.
