Answer: The third day, they arrived at the beach by driving 390 miles in 6 hours.

Explanation:

Since, In the first day, they drove 130 miles in 2 hours.

Thus, in first day, their speed =
(130)/(2) = 65 miles per hour,

( Because, speed = Distance / Time )

Also, in second day,

They drove 325 miles in 5 hours.

⇒ Their speed in second day =
(325)/(5) = 65 miles per hour,

⇒ Their speed in first day = Their speed in second day,

Thus, they are driving with the constant speed of 65 miles per hour,

⇒ In third day, their speed = 65 miles per hour,

Also, time in third day = 6 hours,

Hence, the distance they traveled in third day = 65 × 6 = 390 miles.

( Because, Distance = Speed × Time )

390, you have to half 130 to get the miles travelled in an hour then times by 6 to get the miles in 6 hours
