The one thing that i can think of would be the battle of the Alamo...
The texan emey is none other known as the... Mexicans!
Santa anna literally massacred the alamo, and that wasn't necessary, because the texans were badly outnumberd... So therefore it was a massacre...

And then at the battle of San jacinto, (where texas got its independence) Is where the texans fought very hard, and then won.
