They wrote books and translated Greek literature that educate the world. They were some of the only people who could read or write. They wrote about the events, and without them we wouldn't know anything about the Middle Ages.

They wrote books and educated the world. If they hadn't wrote the books about where they were from. We would have a little understanding on what the middle ages were.
