For X=2-y Look at the following steps.
Step 1. Subtract 2 from both sides
Step 2. Multiply both sides by -1
Step 3. Regroup Terms
Step 4. Switch sides

To solve for X look at the following steps.
Step 1. Factor out the common term 3
Step 2. Divide both sides by 3
Step 3. Simplify
