8 1/3 divided by 5
=8 1/3 *1/5
=25/3 *1/5
=25/15
=1 10/15
=1 2/3

The closest is 1.66 yards per ribbon. All you have to do is divide the 8 1/3 (8.33) by 5 (8.66/5) and that should be it.
