The term Mesoamerica
is derived from the Greek and means "Middle America." It refers to a geographical and cultural area which extends from northern Mexico down through Central America, including Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and El Salvador.

It was an area in the lower part of the Mexican country and all it was is it was where a lot of people that are now from Columbia used to live there before the Spanish set foot on the area in the 15th and 16th centuries.
