Bacterial cells are under the name of prokaryotes where animal cells are eukaryotes.
Bacterial cells have cell walls made of murein (peptidoglycan) while animal cells doesn't have any cell wall.
Bacterial cells have naked DNA which is a loop of strands floating in the cytoplasm , unlike the animal cell which has a very compact structure of DNA associated with histone proteins to form what so called chromosomes.
Bacterial cells have structures which are not found in the animal cells like ; mesosomes , flagellum , plasmids and capsules.
Animal cells also have other membrane bound organelles which are not found in the bacterium cell like ; Smooth and rough ER , mitochondrion etc.

Animal and bacterial cells both contains ribosomes , but bear in mind animal cells have ribosomes of the type 80S while that in bacteria are of type 70S.

Hope this helps :)
You would relate easily if you're doing AS or OCR

Bacteria cells differ from animal cells because they have no nucleus and have genetic material which is stringy and thick found in cytoplasm.
