Progress in tool-making industries and domestic technology led to advancements in agriculture. Inventions such as the plow helped in the planting of seeds, the wheel helped in displacing weight on the wheels due to which Neolithic man could travel to distant places. Loom is also the most important invention of the Neolithic period which brought about the ability to weave fibers into a cloth.
