How did humanism influence the works of Renaissance artists and authors

Humanism put the focus on people, and not the religious beliefs of them, this heavily influenced the Renaissance, as people allowed themselves to do more things. They now did things for themselves, and not because their religion required them to. This can be seen in the changes that were made, such as art becoming more popular, and inventions that made it easier for people to live and work.

Humanism influenced the work of Renaissance artist and authors in that it put body and focus back on mind, which is also reflected in a lot of paintings and sculptures during and a little bit after the Renaissance Era.
