Work = (force) x (distance)
2.7 Joules = (4.5 N) x (distance)
distance = 2.7 J / 4.5 N
=
0.6 meter

Work done (energy) = force * distance
So: distance = work done / force
= 2.7 / 4.5
= 0.6m
