The answer is B) The capital needed to be more centrally located within the population of the state.

Why is it B)? well its B because In 1796, the General Assembly moved the state's capital further west to the town of Louisville in Jefferson County. The BEST explanation for this is that the capital needed to be more centrally located within the population of the state. As settlers moevd further inland from the coast, Georgia was forced to keep the capital "where the people were."
