The correct answer is - True.

Brazil is the country with the highest biodiversity in the whole world, and in its territory are living approximately 20% of all of the known specie on the Earth. This incredible biodiversity in Brazil mainly is due to the northern half of the territory of the country, which is occupied by the largest tropical rainforest in the world, the Amazon rainforest, also referred to as the ''lings of the Earth''.

The Amazon rainforest in very big, and in it, every day new species are discovered and added to the very long list of species, be it from the flora and fauna branch. Brazil owns the biggest portion of the Amazon rainforest, and it has one of the most valuable assets in the world in it, but unfortunately, it is used in a very negative manner, where the rainforest is systematically destroyed, and along with it, lot of species of plants and animals became endangered or totally die out.
