They have a lot of applications in our body, For example

Carbohydrates.-It is so important for the body because they are nutrients that provide energy

Answer & Explanation:

Carbohydrates - They are used primarily by the body as a source of energy through the breakdown of glucose molecules.

Lipids - They act as an energy reserve, just as carbohydrates are precursors of various hormones, as well as acting as thermal insulators and carriers of fat-soluble nutrients and vitamins.

Proteins - Acting in building muscle tissue and maintaining physiological and metabolic functions. Proteins contain essential amino acids (which are not produced by the human body, and therefore must be consumed in the diet). They are also important in the composition of hormones, antibodies, oxygen transport and blood clotting.

Nucleic Acids - They are responsible for the storage and transport of genetic information and its translation, allowing the synthesis of proteins, which will be able to express the characteristics of each living being.
