To solve the equation |x-12|=0.5x Kiana graphed the functions F(x)=|x-12| and G(x)=0.5x on the same set of coordinate axes. She then found that the graphs intersected at the points (8,4) and (24,12) Finally she concluded that the solutions of the equation |x-12|=0.5x are x=8 and x=24 which of the following reasons best justifies Kiana's conclusion?
A) F(4)= G(12) and F(12)= G(4)
B) F(8)= G(24) and F(24)= G(8)
C) F(8)= G(8) and F(24)= G(24)
D) F(4)= G(4) and F(12)= G(12)

When the x-intercept solution of a system of two-variable equations is plugged in, the equations yield the same value. Thus, for the points to be solutions, F(x) = G(x)
The only option that shows this is C, where
F(8) = G(8) and F(24) = G(24)
