I have these answered, but I'd like someone to check them for me? Plz and thanks :)

Rank from most to least soluble in water:
HOOCCH2COOH, HOOC(CH2)5COOH, CH3(CH2)5COOH
I ranked them 2, 1, 3
Which of these are true?
1)Smaller compounds are generally more soluble in water than larger compounds with similar structures
2)Compounds that can form more hydrogen bonds are more soluble in water
3)Larger compounds can form more hydrogen bonds than smaller compounds with similar structures

1. The third option is the least soluble in water because it is the chain with the most number of hydrocarbons. Next is the second option while the first one is the most soluble.
2. Statements 1 and 2 are true. The third option is not true all the time because it depends on the structure of the compound.
