Some packing boxes are stacked as shown. If the face of each box is a square and each box represents one cubic unit, what is the volume of the figure formed by the packing boxes? To whom concern would you please explain.

D. 10 cube units, because there are 5 faces of the box, and shown 3D it's only extended once so you do 5x2= 10 cube units. (you can also count the top boxes[in this case are 2] and then do how many faces [in this case are 5] times or multiplied by each other.) leaves you with D. 10 cube units.
