Se the given length and area of a rectangle to express the width algebraically.

Length is  x + 5,   area is  2x2 + 9x − 5

factor the area polynomial into (2x - 1) and (x + 5)

length is (x + 5) and area is found by multiplying length and width, so the width is (2x - 1) as it's the other factor of the area polynomial after factoring
