2x + 3y = 14
2x = 14 - 3y
x = 7 - 3/2y
3(7 - 3/2y) - 4y = 4
21 - 9/2y - 4y = 4
17/2y = 17
y = 2
x = 7 - 3/2(2)
x = 7 - 3
x = 4
