y-11=4x
subtract 4x from both sides;
-4x+y-11=0
multiply each side by -1 to make a positive;
(-1)-4x+y-11=0
4x-y+11=0standard form = ax+by+c=0
a,b &c are integers and a >0
y-7=4(x+4)
First distribute the 4;
y-7=4x+4
subtract 4 from the sides;
y-7-4=4x+4-4
