In order to calculate how many containers will be needed, we can use a rule of three:

\begin{gathered} 1\text{ container}\to0.55\text{ pounds of soil} \\ x\text{ containers}\to3.3\text{ pounds of soil} \\ \\ (1)/(x)=(0.55)/(3.3) \\ x=(3.3)/(0.55) \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

So it will be needed 6 containers.
