Invented in the 1500's they have discovered the existence of cells and all of our knowledge on cells was from microscopes.

A microscope is considered a simple light microscope because it contains one lens and uses light to examine objects, they can see up to 1500 times better than the human eye. The began making conclusion about the organization of living matter.
