Is 4/6 equivalent to 6/9

Find the denominator's least common multiple which in this case is 18.
So you are changing the denominators of both to 18
So 4/6 is changed to 12/18 (since you had to multiply 3 to 6 to get 18 u have to multiply 3 to 4 also)
Do the same to the second fraction and u shall get 12/18
So the answer is they are equivalent.
