Sulfur hexafluoride - SF6 has an octahedral geometry, consisting of six fluorine atoms attached to a central sulfur atom.

carbon dioxide - CO2 made up of a carbon atom covalently double bonded to two oxygen atoms.

propane - C3H8 is produced as a by-product of two other processes, natural gas processing and petroleum refining.

ethane - C2H6 solution of an acetate salt is electrolysed.

methylcyclohexane - C7H14 component of a mixture, is usually dehydrogenated to toluene, which increases the octane rating of gasoline.

phenol - C6H6O consists of a phenyl group (−C6H5) bonded to a hydroxyl group (−OH). It is mildly acidic and requires careful handling due to its propensity to cause chemical burns.
