t/(t-8)=(t+8)/30
(t+8)(t-8) = 30t
t^2 - 8^2 = 30t
t^2 - 30t - 64 = 0
(t-32)(t+2) = 0
so t = 32 and t = -2
answer: 2 solutions
t = 32 and t = -2
