First u just divide the numbers. Then, with the product, you have to put the decimal point a certain amount. That certain amount is: amount of decimal points from the left of first and second number. for example, 0.5/0.1=0.05
because one step to the right for first number and one step to the right on second one.

To check your answer when dividing, multiply the answer you got times one of the decimals. If you get the other one then you solved it correctly, if not you made a mistake.
