the four gospels were written after the death of jesus. how do you think people were able to remember what jesus did and said before the gospels were written?

if this is a homework assignment, I would say I guess that his words remained with them even after his death but the real answer is unknown because of the time period

Well first off, if Jesus was who He said He is, which He is, Jesus is the Messiah, the long awaited Savior! Secondly, Jesus' teachings were so radical and different at the time so people remembered Jesus by this. And lastly, He performed TONS of miracles so this is how the people remembered Him.
