We have to calculate the remaining, or the supplanted flower fraction.
Remaining =1-2/5=(5-2)/5=3/5.

Now, we calculate the fraction of the flat of flowers get by each friend.

Fraction get by each friend=remaining/number of friends
Fraction get by each friend=(3/5)/5=3/25

Answer: 3/25 flat of flowers are got by each friend

Answer:

Each friend will get
(9)/(25) of the flat of flowers.

Explanation:

Johan buys 3 flats of flowers.

He plants
(2)/(5)th of the flowers, then the remaining flowers = 3 -
(2)/(5)* 3

=
(9)/(5)

Now he divides the remaining flowers among 5 friends.

So each friend gets the fraction of flowers =
\frac{\text{Remaining flowers}}{\text{Number of friends}}

=
((9)/(5) )/(5)

=
(9)/(25)

Therefore, each of Johan's friend will get
(9)/(25) of the flat of flowers.
