no they did not, to have been working at the same rate it should have taken Heath 90 minutes to complete 18 problems, as 6x3 is 18, you would also multiply the time completed by 3, hope this helps

Kiera : 30/6 = 5 minutes per problem
Heath : 40/18 = 2.22 minutes per problem
They did not work at the same rate....Heath worked faster
