The minimum amount of states is 11, those states being California, Texas,Florida,Pennslyvania, Illinois, Ohio,Michigan, New jersey, Georgia, And North Carolina. Hope this helps!

There are a total of 538 electoral votes. In order to become President, a candidate needs to win one more than half, or
270.
