What is the point-slope form of the equation of a line that passes through the point (1, 4) and has a slope of −3?

x'=1 y'=4 slope = -3



slope. (x'-x)=y'-y


-3. (1-x)=4-y


-3+3x=4-y


y=4+3-3x


y=7-3x
