what is the difference between a linear interval and a nonlinear on a graph? How would they look?

A linear interval will always be a straight line, and can be written as y=mx+b

A nonlinear interval is any equation that is not a straight line on a graph.

a linear makes a line on thee other hand a nonlinear does not! hope this helps!
