50 = 10 * 5 = 5 * 5 * 2

Explanation:

First, we find two numbers that when multiplied together, equal to 50.
Basically, find two multiples for 50.
10 and 5 are what I picked.
And we keep doing this until all the numbers are prime.

\large\begin{array}{l} \textsf{Prime factorization of 50:}\\\\ \begin{array}r \mathsf{50}&{\mathsf2}\\ \mathsf{25}&\mathsf{5}\\ \mathsf{5}&\mathsf{5}\\ \mathsf{1} \end{array}\qquad\quad\Rightarrow\quad\boxed{\begin{array}{c} \mathsf{50=2\cdot 5^2} \end{array}} \end{array}
