-6x + y = 8 -6x + y - 8 = 0 y = -2 (3x - 4) x = 4/3 Now: -6 * 4/3 + 8 = y = 0

Hope it helped :)

\large\begin{array}{l} \textsf{You can easily find x intercept of a line by solving}\\\textsf{the equation below:}\\\\ \mathsf{y=0}\\\\ \mathsf{-6x+8=0}\\\\ \mathsf{-6x=-8}\\\\ \mathsf{x=(-8)/(-6)}\\\\ \boxed{\begin{array}{c}\mathsf{x=(4)/(3)} \end{array}} \end{array}
