64 squared ft bc if you have one size of the hexagon that is 16 ft you times that by 4 bc you have to multiply all sides to get the area and you should get 64 sq ft if I’m wrong I’m sorry lol

Answer:

665.1

Explanation:

The formula for an area of a hexagon is
(3√(3))/(2)S^(2)

the S (side) is 16 so,

(3√(3))/(2)16^(2)

=
(3√(3) )/(2)256

=
3√(3) × 128

=
384√(3)

round to the nearest sq. rt. means that you have to round to the nearest tenth, or 0.1

384√(3) is 665.10751 as a decimal

665.1 as rounded. Therefore, the area of the hexagon is 665.1 sq ft
