(–4, –1); y = 2x + 14

y = 2x + 14
slope = 2
parallel slope = 2
y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
y - (-1) = (2) (x - (-4))
distribute:
y + 1 = 2x +6
minus 1
y = 2x + 5
