I need help with this question: The cost for a certain music plan is $9.99 per year plus $0.25 per song you download. If you paid $113.74 one year find the number of songs you downloaded.

so you would make this into an equation ; 9.99+0.25s= t s= how many songs you download t= total cost then you plug in your 113.74 as t; 9.99+0.25s=113.74 then you solve for s; 113.74-9.99=103.75 103.75 divided by 0.25=415 so you downloaded 415 songs
