(y - y1)/(y2-y1) = (x-x1)/(x2 -x1)
(y -1)/(3-1) = (x-5)/(-2-5)
(y-1)/2 = (x-5)/-7
-7(y-1) = 2(x-5)
-7y + 7 = 2x - 10
2x - 10 = -7y + 7
2x + 7y - 10 - 7 = 0
2x + 7y - 17 = 0
